Read This Before You Use the Terminal
pipNova-Ai is not a regulated broker, fund or investment adviser. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. You alone decide what to trade and how much to risk.
Leveraged Trading Can Lose You Money Fast
XAUUSD is usually traded as a leveraged contract for difference or as a spot-metal CFD. Leverage magnifies both directions: a small adverse move in the underlying price can produce a large loss on the margin you have committed, and in a fast market it can exceed the margin itself. Most retail accounts that lose money lose it in leveraged metals positions, and losses can accumulate faster than you can react, particularly around news releases, session opens and overnight gaps.
Trading a volatile instrument with leverage carries a high risk of rapid loss. Only trade with money you can afford to lose, size positions so that a normal adverse move is survivable, and stop if it stops being survivable. If leverage, drawdown or the pace of the market is affecting your judgement, step away.
Past Performance Does Not Predict Future Results
Any performance figure shown on this site is an in-house, unaudited, first-party claim produced on a specific sample of data under specific conditions, using a method the operator chose. Those samples are limited, they are not independently verified, and they do not represent what any individual trader will experience. Live results vary with spread, slippage, session, news flow, sizing and discipline. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results, and a backtest is not a promise.
Delta Is a Proxy, Not Exchange Volume
Spot metals and CFDs do not report exchange-traded volume. What a chart on MetaTrader labels as "volume" is the broker's own tick count. pipNova-Ai reports a delta: the difference between aggressive buy and aggressive sell transactions, classified by whether each transaction hit the bid or the ask, plus a cumulative delta and a pressure ratio derived from it.
That makes delta a proxy for aggressive spread-crossing flow - a measure of who crossed the spread and how hard - and nothing more. It is not a reported volume figure, it is not central-exchange data, and it is not directly comparable with a futures or equities volume number. A large delta can occur on thin liquidity, and a quiet delta can occur behind a large resting order that never crossed. Read delta as one input among many, never as a standalone trigger.
The Feed May Be Stale, Delayed, or Demo
The live data comes from a third-party broker feed - currently an IC Markets demo account - read through the MetaTrader 5 API. This has direct consequences for how you should read the screen:
- The feed may be delayed or unavailable. Ticks can arrive late, in bursts, or not at all. Gaps in the tape are possible and reconnect does not refill them.
- It is a demo feed, not an exchange feed. Prices are a broker's own view of the market and can differ from your broker's, sometimes by a noticeable amount.
- Outside session hours the market is closed. In that case the terminal can and does display the last available tick, which is stale. A price that has not moved for hours, a delta that has stopped, and a status that still looks alive are all consistent with a closed market and do not mean the reading is current.
- Always check the timestamp and the session state before acting. If the feed cannot be trusted at that moment, the correct action is to not trade, not to trade on a stale number.
Z-Scores and Pressure Are Statistics, Not Price Levels
The z-score, the pressure ratio and the session-state flags are statistical summaries computed over a rolling window of the tick data the terminal has received. A z-score of 2.0 means the current reading is two standard deviations from its own recent mean under the configured window - it does not mean price is at a level, a target, a support, a resistance, or a prediction of where price is going. The same applies to a pressure reading: it describes the recent balance of aggressive flow, nothing more. Windows and thresholds are chosen by the operator, they can behave differently in a trending or thin market than in a balanced one, and they are tools for organising your attention, not forecasts.
Your Execution Will Not Match the Screen
Your broker charges its own spread, may widen it around news, and may fill at a different price from the feed the terminal shows. Latency between the feed and your terminal, and between your terminal and your broker, means a level that looked valid may already be gone by the time your order arrives. The terminal is an analysis surface, not an execution surface, and pipNova-Ai has no connection to your broker account and cannot place, modify or close any position for you.
